What is caring & sharing?

Caring & Sharing (C&S) aims to unite the Ismaili youth of the UK and Europe, bringing participants from diverse backgrounds together for a weekend to remember!

Marking its 25th year in 2020, the camp aims to provide a unique and fun environment for participants to build lasting relationships, develop independence, further discover their creativity and grow their leadership skills. Throughout the weekend, participants will also develop an awareness of our faith, a sense of belonging in the community, and an understanding of the role of voluntary service within their daily lives.

Most of all, Caring & Sharing 2020 promises to be a weekend full of fun, laughter and friendship – it’s not one to miss!

 Camp Objectives

  • Unite participants from all backgrounds and provide opportunities to build lifelong friendships
  • Create a fun-filled environment that promotes lifelong sustainability and encourages participants to be stewards of the planet
  • Provide a platform to develop self-confidence and independence
  • Nurture our future leaders and ambassadors of the community, by providing opportunities for leadership development and build team working skills
  • Encourage a sense of pride and comfort in belonging to the Ismaili community
  • Instil awareness of faith within the context of participants’ everyday lives

The second stage will be a face-to-face interview where you’ll get the chance to meet the team. Everyone who applies will get an interview.

We welcome all applicants from any educational background, culture, location and ability. Even if you don’t feel you fit all of the criteria, we encourage you to apply and not to forget we will support you throughout the process! We look forward to getting to know you.
